Hello, the main issue I am having is when idling, the car will periodically (but not always), start to idle rough, the RPMs get low and the engine stalls. If it stalls, it won't start again unless I floor the gas pedal for a few seconds before turning the ignition. If I give it more gas when idling it will prevent it from stalling, so I've taken to pushing the brake with my left foot and keeping my right on the gas so it's idling above 1K RPMs.

Additionally, every once in a while it will act like it has significantly reduced engine power. While driving home on a highway, after about 10 miles I had to floor the gas pedal to barely manage to maintain 50mph. Once I exited, the car stalled as soon as I stopped at the stop light. When I restarted the engine, it behaved normally, with no loss of acceleration or top speed.

Is your check engine light turned on? If it is, please have it scanned and give us the code(s).

Based on your description, I would suggest:

1. If you have not a tune up recently, do it.
2. Check your idle air control motor and throttle position sensor.
3. Check your EGR valve and solenoid.
