1999 Toyota Camry front end links

The front end links need replacing often, is this a job a backyard mechanic can do? Is there a reason they brake so often?

Hi there,

This should not be a real problem, just replace then as a pair, I have not replaced all that many my self, so I don't know if they are a problem or not, but I would get an alignment just in case this is a contributing factor.
