When I accellerate from under 20mph or from a stop my car makes a slight squeeking noise from the rear. When I break there is a slight, almost unnoticable, grinding noise. I was told that I would most likely need new pads and rotors. My question is, what is the minimum wear threshold on my car's rotors? I would like to know before I am scammed into buying new rotors instead of just having them rotated or resurfaced...
