We have a 1998 Camry and the alarm keeps going off when it isn’t supposed to. It goes off all the time.
We took it to the Toyota dealer and they said it was really touchy and they couldn’t disconnect it without taking the ignition out and if we just cut the cable to it, it would mess up the electronics in the car and the remote key entry wouldn’t work.
Does anyone know a quick fix this problem?

Well...
Why disconnect it?
they are supposed to fix it,

There should be an a "shock sensor adjustment"

I wonder why the dealer didn`t know about it..
sometimes its built on the module
some times its out of it...
lock around for it..
some of them have a led light that indicates when "the contact its closed"
it depends if its aftermarket or original equipment..
