I have to press brake padel all the way to stop the car and it is really sluggish. When I brought the car to a brake shop, the mechanic checked it for an hour and cannot find any problem with pad/rotter and cannot find any leak either. He suggested me to go to a Toyota dealer. What are the potential problems and repair cost?

Thank you for your help.

Hi there,

I would be thinking that the brake master cylinder is by-passing fluid internally, this will give you a poor pedal and poor brakes, your work shop should be able to advise on costs as i am in Australia my prices will differ.
