Hello, my oil pan is leaking, I hit a dip a couple of weeks ago. Is this a tough process to replace it - for a 97 Camry?
Thanks

Hi there,

This is not a hard job to do, you will have to remove the exhaust engine pipe and the lower cross member, the engine will hang on th remaining mounts ok. The sump should be chemically sealed (no gasket ) this will be the tricky bit, breaking the seal, there is a special tool available for this task. make sure you clean all the old sealant of the mating surface and use only Toyota sealant ask for the sump sealant (i think it is black in colour) apply exactly as the instructions recommend and you will have no problems.
