Noises problem
1997 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 148k miles
the car has a eng noise that seems to be louder at idel then any other time. belts are tight and look good. timing belt was replaced about 60k ago. sounds like it could be coming from thay area. another question. same car has road noise from front suspension. i thought it was bad strut. replaced both, no help. sounds like a clonking sound. most noticeable at low speeds. but dont believe it's a cv joint. can you help me. i have been an aircraft mechanic for 20 yrs. thx, allen
