Steering problem
1996 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 180Kkm miles

1) My 1996 Camry 2.2 steering wheel is now somewhat stiffer than before. As such its self return after taking a turn is very much lesser now. What can be wrong or need to be serviced? Is there no tellltail alarm if something is wrong. Power steering last serviced 5 years ago and the fluid was also replaced.

2) How would I know if my ABS is actually working or what is the best way to test it out?

check fluids and belt

ABS system if not working or something wrong you would have a warning ABS light on
so if system isn’t working you would have an ABS light on

turn ignition key on
ABS light on
start engine light should go out in few sec
if not ABS system need to be checked for codes
