1996 Toyota Camry read the whole thing then answer

ok i'm sorry i explained it wrong. not the break warning light. the break lights warning showing the break lights are out is on. it will not go off. i replaced the break lights they work fine. but the warning light shows the break lights are out and not working. how do i get this light to go off?

i said the lights work fine. so whats the problem and how do i fix it!?

I didn't say it was the the brake light. One (maybe more) of your rear bulbs burned out. You have ten light bulbs in the rear, two of them are dual filaments. So technically you have twelve bulbs for the back (circled):

2 license plate
2 turn signal
2 tail lights combo with stop lights (total of 2 bulbs but 4 filaments)
2 back up lights
1 high mount stop light
1 trunk light (not shown)

You need to check all of them
