I'd like some advice. I replaced the original radiator on my Camry in July 2006 after a major crack/leak and now I had to replace it again in May 2008 because it was leaking. An after market radiator was installed in 2006 with a 12 month warranty. I think this is unbelievable that the radiator would fail in under 2 years. I know after market is not the same quality as the original part, but the Toyota part cost seemed excessive given the age of the car. Do you think I have any recourse by contacting the manufacturer or distributor of the radiator and complaining about the quality of the product? It was a metal radiator (aka aluminum I guess). Thank you!

Hi there,

well you are well withing your rights to contact the manufacturer and complain, you may be lucky and get a sympathetic hearing, but don't expect a new radiator . Give it a try you have nothing to loose.
