The crankshaft pulley that drives the alternator belt is missing all of the grooves and the pulley is smooth and the alternator adjustment will not tighten enough. Does the entire crankshaft pulley need to be replraced or is there an outer gear/belt grove device with groves for the belt that fits into or over the pulley?
