My car makes a quick little roar when I first start my engine then sqeaks while it's warming up. This roar only happens when my car has been sitting for more than 9 hours in at least 40 degrees or lower weather. I never hear this noise in the warmer months. I had it checked out and they thought it was the timing belt, but they weren't sure.
Thanks.

Hi there,

i would first be checking the condition and tension of the Alternator and Power steering and A/C belts where fitted. Engine timing belts are not normally noisy, but if all other belts are fine, by all means check the timing belt as well.
