1995 Toyota Camry Turn the key - get a click...

I recently have been turning my key and getting a single click.. I would continue to turn the key repeatedly.. after 5-10 tries, starts up fine.

Now all I get is a click. So I removed the battery post connectors and and cleaned the terminals and hooked up a jump with my van. After 10-15 tries, started up with hesitation.

Battery wires, distributor cap...?

wouldn't be distributor..need to have charging system tested (battery, cables and alternator) if all tests good then test starter. if its good as well could have failing ignition switch
