1995 Toyota Camry Problem while replacing fuel filter.

So I attempted to replace my fuel filter and I ran into some problems. First off it was very difficult to remove the fuel line connected to the bottom of the fuel filter. After alot of effort it finally came free but in the process I stripped the bolt at the end of the fuel line. Because of this I cannot tighten the bottom line securely to the new fuel filter. It is practically impossible to screw it in any farther and when the engine is started it leaks between the fuel line and the filter. Is it possible to completely replace the bottom fuel line that connects to the fuel filter?
