Hi. my 1995 Toyota Camry has been overheating. There are a few thing that I have noticed: 1) there is a brown film on the top of the fluid in the reservoir. 2) The upper radiator hose was warm and the lower hose was cool. 3) I replaced the thermostat but the coolant still does not seem to flow through the engine. I took the car to a mechanic who is replacing the radiator and the water pump. Do you think that his will solve my problem? I still can't understand where the thick film in the radiator fluid came from. Also, he said that it was so bad that I could not get a radiator flush.
