1994 Toyota Camry heat and smell cming from enginge

i had the 'head' replaced on my car about 2 years ago. A couple of months ago I noticed a small oil leak, and have ensured the oil is topped up regularly (also chacking not to overfill). Car is now smelling like burning oil once car has been running for a few minutes, and smells and feels hot (temp gage normal)

Hi auntiehairy,

When oil leaks and they gets onto the exhaust, burning smell would be emitted.

The hot feeling could be due to the oil burning which would emit aome steam causing the hot feeling.
