Brakes problem
1994 Toyota Camry V6 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 169000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I pushed my car into the driveway 2 weeks ago. It has what Im calling a broke front driver side axle. It looks like theres a flange or hub connected to the axle and 4 bolts in the hub like the bolts loosened up and pulled out of the engine. My problem is I put the car in neutral and tried to roll it into my garage but the car wont move. I had the emergency brake on for 2 weeks, when I pull the emergency brake release the lever comes up slowly. I tried several times reapplying and releasing and reshifting to neutral. Could it be my emergency brake is stuck on ? If it is how do I free it up or what else should I check ? Thanks much !

Try lifting just the rear wheels and turning them, that will tell you if it is the rears or front axle keeping it from rolling. If the brake is stuck, you can try gently tapping the backing plate with a hammer to shock it free. Might even be a bad e-brake cable
