I have a 94 camry that boggs down when you push on the gas pedal. I rechecked timing numerous times. It keeps slipping or something. It will backfire when you press on the gas as well. It is a new timing belt, wires, cap, rotor. Any other suggestions?
That problem seems to be solved, but I tried to run the car last night and it runs fine when it is cold, but then runs like a junker when it is warmed up. Unplugged the temperature sensor and it still ran like crap. More suggestions?

Check the throttle position and MAF sensor

It may also be the fuel filter. The engine will bog down, kiinda gasping for fuel thru a clogged filter when you accelerate. My 90 camry manual (2VZFE V6) recommends changing it every 15k or 12 months. Wouldn't hurt if it hasn't been done recently. I would imagine it's the same time frame for yours as well.
