Battery was disconnected for 24 hours then reconnected. The window went down using passenger door switch, but won't go back up. Passenger window control switch on drivers door did nothing. All other windows are strong up and down.

Hi mbridges2,

Thank you for the donation.

There are 3 possible cause that I can think of.

1. Faulty master control switch
2. Faulty passenger door switch.
3. Failed motor.

Passenger side door switch has same connector as other rear doors. Swap with one of them and restest to confirm that it is not the passenger door switch that is at fault.

After 235,000 flawless miles, why would the switch or motor suddenly fail just from having the battery disconnected? Is there a fuse and/or relay somewhere that could have failed instead?

Electrical components can fail any time so it could be coincidence it occurred.

A common fuse is used for all the windows so it should not be th cause.
