Electrical problem
1993 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
So, my 93 Camry is overheating on a daily basis (which worries me because its not even summer yet and I live in Utah! This car is going to need to be able to handle 100 degree weather in a couple of months). One of the fans under the hood is not turning on, and my cousin (who is a mechanic) had to rig it so that the other fan would come on. I think it is an electrical problem (and my cousin doesn't know much about the electrical side of cars), and it was suggested that I remove the thermostat (which doesn't sound like the best idea to me) because I wont need it with summer coming. Another suggestion was to hard wire the fan. When it comes to cars, I'm a typical female and really don't know that much about them (all I really know how to do is change the oil and put in fluids), so I'm not sure which option (if either) is best, or how to do it. Any suggestions/instructions?
