Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

our car suddenly stalled one day with the temp gauge shooting up to high and all dash indicator lights coming on.the radiator was found to have a split in it but the mechanics report said POSSIBLE cracked cylinder head and blown head gasket.to which he quoted over $2000 to repair.when i start the car it seems to idle fine and if i put my hand over the exhaust their seems to be plenty of compression.their is no water in the oil.is their a simle test i can perform to tell me if i do have blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head?

Hi jamie perry and TY for the donation

To prove it-Get it block and pressure tested this will tell if its the head or block to include the gasket.

Remove the radiator cap and start the engine do you see the coolant bubbling-
