My stepdaughter has a 93 Camry that will start up fine when it is completely cold. After warming it up, it dies, just sitting there, and it will not start again until it has COMPLETELY cooled. The motor will turn over but it will not start again until the engine is completely cold. There is no spark via the old tried screwdriver into the spark plug cap gapping to ground method. I have replaced the coil so far since the old one had small cracks in it. Rotor and distributor cap have been cleaned. When the engine is running, it idles smoothly with no problems until it dies. It will be idling perfectly then it simply stops abruptly. We have NEVER gotten a check engine light at all. Yes the check engine comes on when you start the vehicle and goes off as it should.
Any ideas???
Thanks,
