I went to Walmart to get my oil changed and they stated that both outer CV Boots busted. Does this mean that it messes up the axel to your car.

Does this mean that it messes up the axel to your car. It will in the long run due to debris going into the CV Joint. Dunno if the zipper type boot is still available if not you have to replace the whole axle or buy the OEM boot and install it-

All I know is that they told me that it was busted. They never told me that debris was the cause. The told me that it could break my axle.

The CV boot is the covering for the CV Joint to protect it from debris and hold in the special grease that goes with it-if it runs dry there's gonna be problems. Get it taken care of.
