1992 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Automatic 160000 miles

I am having problems with my camry and I can't seem to find someone who can figure it out! If i am running arond town (stopping and starting car) after about the 3rd stop, I can't get my car started back up! I will try to start it and it will cough and sputter and then stall. I will then have to wait 30 min to try again. When I do try it again, it will again cough and sputter but if I pump the gas pedal it will then struggle, but then start. I never have a problem getting it started cold, and would like to know what the problem is! I have already had the ignition coil replaced and I think maybe a new dist. What else could it be!?
I talked to the mechanic and he said that he did a fuel diagnostic, and the fuel pressure did drop during this test. Would that be that the fuel pump needs to be replaced to fix this problem?
