Ive lost power during accelleration. I have checked everything including compression 125 psi.to 120 nothing lower. No check engine light on. It also has low vacuum at idle.someone said, maby the catalyic converter is plugged.? Does low vacuum mean plugged converter? The tranny oil looks good and doesn't smell burnt.

The only way to tell about the lost of power is to disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold and road test it or have a backpressure test on the exhaust system.

And could be a slipping tranny who knows.
