My car was leaking oil from the what we thought was the oil pump but we found out it was just a seal so after putting everthing back together the leak is fixed but now when I am driving and push on the gas pettle it feels almost bogged down but if I keep my foot to the floor the engine kindof catches up and speeds up my friend is the mechanic and he was kindof confused any ideas?

He probably didn't do the valve timing correctly-Have him recheck the cam and crankshaft sprockets alignment-to prove it check the ignition timing it 'll be way of from the normal 10 deg BTDC when check connector jumped-Te-1 to E-1

Symptoms: No acceleration power-step on gas pedal catches ands speed up- going up hill no power you have to downshift to 2nd to keep it going- BTDT
