My car runs rough like it wants to die when it gets warm - driving literally around the block - and heats up really fast! Coolant in rad, oil level fine and normal color, trans fluis normal color, can't find any vacuum leaks, everything looks to be hooked up properly. What could this be?

Check and test the thermostat, for a clogged radiator and a defective water if all okay try bleeding the cooling system don't work get it block and pressure tested.

Thanks, I'm taking it to a mechanic today. I think it's the fuel filter cuz it runs fine as long as its getting gas, but when I slow down to stop, it wants to die. Also, it runs fine when it's cold, it only acts up after it reaches operating temp. Any other ideas by chance?
