1990 Toyota Camry Dashboard lighting

1990 TOYOTA CAMRY

I have a 1990 Toyota Camry DX and when I turn the head lights on the dashboard lights dont come on. Nither does the light under the shift window. Why is this doing this?

Hello !

Check your "dimmer" switch. Could be set to Off.

Wee you were partly right, it waqs the dimmer switch but it wasnt off, the pigtail fell loose. I imagin it happened when I removed my dash to install new speakers and wires. Lol
