1989 Toyota Camry 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 60,000 miles

on 12/23 I was going down the road and hit a huge puddle. My car died and I had it towed back to my house. I thought after it dried out for a few days it would be fine but it still won't start. I even used a hair dryer under the hood, nothing seems wet. What can I do to fix this?
