1987 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

Hey there, got a problem trying to replace the front wheel bearings, ive taken the wheel of, taken the split pin out and the star shaped cover , and im trying to crack the main nut on the shaft... and for the life of me i cant crack it..? any ideas? ive done wheel bearings on old holdens, are these different? dan

Hi there,

This nut is very tight and often need a 3/4" drive to undo it, the bearings are not the same as your old holden, this car has a double row ball race which is one assembly and is pressed in with special tools so they are not damaged, i think that this should be left to your mechanic to do.
