If the check engine light has just come on, have the computer scanned to determine what has caused it. Most part stores will do it for free.

If your interior light is center of the head liner, if you gently pry on the plastic cover, it will come off.

As far as the driver's window, the only thing you can do is check to see if the window motor is getting power when it isn't working. If there is power to it, chances are the motor is going bad. If there is no power, check the switch to see if it is getting power in and out.
