Smells problem
2001 Toyota 4Runner 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 112000 miles
I have a 2001 Toyota 4runner SR5. The CEL, VSC and TRAC lights came on one day and I took it to Autozone to have codes P0440(x2) and p0442 PULLED. I noticed when I have the A/C on my truck idles roughly at stop signs and traffic lights. Also I smell a "rotten egg/sulfur" smell everytime my truck is running. I replaced the cap and charcoal canister(both from dealer) but i still have the same problems. What else could be causing all these problems?

Hi there,
This can often just be a case of bad fuel, i would drain what fuel you can, change the fuel filter, fill with premium fuel & add a good dose if injector cleaner, start here.
