Blower motor fan blows warm/hot air constantly - even when in "OFF" position on dash panel. Blows air out of front passenger floor position. The only way to make it stop is to turn off the ignition. To offset the interior discomfort, I need to turn ON A/C, with Fan set to HIGH position.

Hi gdmac3k,

Thank you for the donation.

The blower fan motor relay is being activated when the ignition switch is turned on.

Is the air speed low, medium or high?
Are you able to control the air speed with the blower switch?

Possible causes are :

1. Faulty blower switch, ( higher possibility).

2. Relay Yellow/Red wire shorted to body ground, ( this would result in the blower running at highest speed)

The air coming out of passenger floor position indicates a fault in the air outlet servomotor.

Is vehicle equipped with manual or automatic climate control?

Check the blower motor linear controller, ( located behind right side of dash).

Unplug it and test if the blower works correctly.
