1995 Toyota 4Runner fuel filter

Engine Performance problem
1995 Toyota 4Runner 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I am changing my fuel filter and was needing to know if there is washers or seals that I need with it. The guy at advance says it doesn't have any. The chilton manual says it does. Any answers?
