I was doing some work on the plastics today, and had to pull apart the dash and the switch holders for the power windows. When I went to put everything back together, my passenger side front, both the back and the rear power windows will not work. The driver side and the sun roof work, as well as all lights, and the radio and the power locks. I checked and recheck, and check 4 or 5 times more to make sure everything was connected, and still no power windows. What can this be?

Hi AndyP79,

If all the power windows are not working except for the driver door, the main power supply should be missing. It sounds like the main switch is bad.

This guide can help

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/electric-window-repair

Check if the driver door main switch is turned OFF.

Check for a loose connector for branching out the power supply to other doors at upper left end of dash. If you have battery voltage at driver switch Blue/Red wire and none at the other doors, this should be the cause.

Here are the schematics for your understanding of the circuit. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Thanks for the response. I actually found out that I just had the window lock on. I had pulled apart the dash and door panels to do some cosmetic maintenance and the window locks are not something I ever use, so I never thought of checking them!
So the answer for some other people out there that might have this problem, check your window locks first.

The rear window for cargo area will not go down with either the key switch on tailgate or the switch on the console. I have replaced the micro switches in the tailgate and also the main control relay box for rear window and rear wipers. You can hear the relays clicking when you try to lower window but no voltage to motor. The motor is good have tested it by external power to it, reversing power and motor will run the opposite way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi helpfixit09,

Thank you for the donation.

I have the wiring schematics for the rear power window. Did you test the continuity for both wires from relay to motor?

Quite often the wires tends to break at the part between the door and body.
