Hello - I have two vehicles: a 1993 Toyota 4Runner that had a Kenwood CD player installed, and a 1999 Toyota Corolla that had a factor Tape/Radio player in it.

Yesterday I switched the stereos: now the Corolla has the Kenwood CD player, and the 4Runner has the factory Tape/radio player.

Everything in the Corolla works fine.

My problem is that the 4Runner now doesn't start. When I try to start the engine, the engine cranks but never turns over. Everything electrical in the 4Runner seems to works: the radio, the headlights, etc.

I checked all the fuses in the fuse box under the hood and none are blown.

While troubleshooting, I noticed that when I turn the key to "ON" there is a clicking sound coming from under the hood. I localized the clicking sound to be coming from a relay located next to the fuse box. It is labeled A.B.S.(trac) relay.

I have to think that I damaged something electrical during my car stereo switch, but I can't localize the problem. As for the ABS relay, I don't think its the problem because the brakes and the engine aren't related electrical (at least not as far as I know). Maybe the ABS relay always clicked and I just never noticed it.

Does anybody have any suggestions on where else I might look?
