I have checked the started and the battery. It still will not start. I think it is something electrical. How do I check this? Or what should I do?

1991 Toyota 4Runner This vehicle will not start.

Do you mean it doesn't crank at all or it cranks over and refuses to start? Do you see all the lights that normally comes On when you turn key to On position.

It won't crank at all. It's like it's not getting any energy.

Okay start from the battery make sure it has an open voltage of 12.4 or better and a clean and tight connections. Or get the battery load tested-The battery has to give in, in order for the starter to engage the engine to crank over. Get the battery rule out and comeback.

Next check will be fusible links

How about the light I asked earlier are they coming On.

Yes the lights do come on. I have already checked the battery. It works fine. It's hooked up properly. Any other ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Have helper hold key in start position and check for power at starter solenoid black and white small wire-do you have power? if so the starter is defective. if not could be the park/neutral switch/starter relay and the igniton switch.
