How Do You Take A Brake Rotor Off Of A 1990 Toyota 4Runner?

Remove the caliper, on free wheeling hub models, set handle to free position.
On all models, remove the hub cover, bolt/washer and hub body. Use a punch to

open the slits of the conical washers. Remove axle shaft snap ring, if it has

one. Striaghten the tabs of the outer lock washer. Using a spindle socket,

remove lock nut, washer and adjusting nut. Remove thrust washer and outer

bearing. Remove the hub and rotor, and remove the studs, I use 2 hammers, so I

don't damage the studs then seperate the hub from the rotor by using the 32

hammers and putting the edge of one on the hub and hitting it with the

other. Hit only on the outer edge, not inner were the seal is!
