Torque converter lock up solenoid removal

Torque converter solenoid snapped in half on me inside the transmission. How do I get it out? Please thank you.

Good morning,

Did you remove the snap ring that holds the solenoid secure? If you did not, remove it, twist the remaining piece, and pull it out.

Otherwise, you may need to remove the front pump to get the remaining pieces out.

I attached a picture for you below.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Oil pan and filter.
3. Snap ring, plug, valve and the spring.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Spring, valve, plug, and the snap ring.
2. Filter and oil pan and fluid.
3. Lower the vehicle.
