Would you please explain the procedure for releasing the plunger of a newly-installed timing chain tensioner?

I am attaching the info below but this guide does have useful info that you or others could use when doing these repairs.

However, below is the info for not only the tensioner but the installation of the chain including timing marks. The first page gives some detail on the tensioner but the last page shows the actual part of the manual that covers the installation and release of the tensioner.
