Where is the Thermostat located?

Hi there, my car is heating up quickly. When I am stuck in traffic it heats up even more or when I am using the air-conditioning. The water pump, head gasket and radiator seem fine, and I am trying to locate the thermostat. Is the thermostat located from the top radiator hose or bottom?

Hi,

First, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.

In most cases, it will be located at the top where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine block, but it can be the bottom as well.

Here is what I suggest: If there is a thermostat (top or bottom) you should be able to tell. There will be a thermostat housing. I found a pic of the housing that "should" be on this vehicle and attached it below.

Check to see if this is at the top or bottom of the engine. Also, here is a link that you may find helpful.
