2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV that has a few scratches and of some areas of silver over-spray on the exterior.

What would be the best way to get rid of that paint and the scratches? I just bought some Turtle Wax rubbing compound for that purpose.

Would that work? I never know if I need rubbing or polishing compound.

Hi there,

You must take care if using a rubbing compound as it will remove the duco, that is what is its designed to do, I would get advice from a spray painter as they will know exactly what to do.
