I bought this car new. I had one of those oil sludge removal treatments done when I had my oil changed about 6 months ago (oil is changed about every 4 months now because it really burns it). So after the sludge removal treatment, the car smokes from the exhaust when I start it and the mechanic said it's because I have to drive the car 500 miles before the stuff burns off and our gas is so full of crap that it makes the car smoke but i think it was that crappy sludge treatment. Anyway, on to this new problem. It won't start. On our first -2 degree morning, I went to start it and it tries to start but it won't, had battery checked and it is finebut it still won't start. lights come on etc., I was told that it could be frozen fuel line, or alternator. I dread auto repairs because the last thing i had done was timing chains (6) last summer which cost a bundle. help
