1996 Other Suzuki Models 4 cyl

1996 Suzuki Swift 2dr hatchback. I had no problems with the car until one day after I parked it in my driveway, the car wouldnt start when I got back in to go to the store. When you turn the key in the ignition somtimes you hear a click noise. The battery is new, lights, radio, dash lights all come on when the key is placed in the ignitation and you turn the key. Would the starter be the problem? If so where is it located and how do I check if that is the problem? Thank you very much.
