2008 Suzuki Alto 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 22546 miles
i am using Alto manufacturing in Maruti suzuki india ltd, my ecm lamp is on while driving, i got one code scanner from uobd2 from china. i connected the obd scaner but could not find any error message or code. i alos tried with other maruti suzuki models but no error code found. is our models are eobd ii codes available.if yes why no codes found in scaner. Local dealer advised to purchase GM Tech 2 ,which is very costly.Can u advise any other option,let me know, Thanks.

have a garage plug the vehicle into there scanner .. handheld scanners will only read powertrain (engine) codes .. it may be a transmission or body or ABS fault code
