Electrical problem
2003 Suzuki Aerio 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 82k miles

i just installed a new sony head unit after my stereo died on me. Now the rear brake lights dont light up when I hit the brake pedal. They do however turn on when i turn the lights on. No wires look shorted nor are any fuses blown. Any help?

Hello .. thanks for the donation .. much appreciated First check fuse # 11 in main fuse box in engine compartment .. then check the switch is working correctly on the brake pedal ...the radio and brake light circuit's have no wiring in common but as you state the brake light's come on when you turn on the light's I would check the radio #1 wire (white/red) interior light's to radio circuit !!
