Hey All,

My Outback has been getting pretty ornery lately. Maybe it's just the cold or old age setting in, but if it sits for a few days the starter just returns a click when I turn the key. After a few tries, the starter finally turns and everything is fine. Today it went through the clicking routine but when the starter turned. it wouldn't stop. I removed the key and it just kept going. I had to rip open the hood and remove the battery ground. When I replaced the battery cable it kicked right back in, cranking away like it was laughing at me.

Watzup with that? Starter? Solenoid? Relay?

Help me stop the insanity!
