Shakes or Wobbles problem
1997 Subaru Outback 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 95000 miles
HI my car was vibrating violently when I braked at 65mph. My mech said it was because the front brake disc was bent and got it replaced and it solved the vibration. But the acceleration is still bad. It feels as if the brakes are on just like before. The front wheel has a burning smell after driving and the milage is 13mph. Which is bad.

Hi vsingh,
The front brakes are faulty, which most probably caused the rotors to run out of lateral and replacing the rotors would only be short term before it comes back due to the overheating.
Get the brakes checked. It could be caliper slider bolts, stuck pistons, brake master cylinder or hoses.
