I bought a 1989 subaru station wagon not sure the engine size thought Iknow its a four cylinder I have replaced the whole distruburtor and cap plug wires and plugs and the ignition and it still won't fire can you guys please help me out its making me mad so please help its a nice car thanks

There are lots of possibilities.Since its an 89 and it has a distrinuter its a Loyale.Loyales break timing belts like nobodys business.Remove the Distributer cap look at the rotor ,turn the engine over and see if it spins if not the l/h timing belt is broken.If it does the diagnoses will become more coplicated.And if youre already mad it might be better to let a tech look at it
