Electrical problem
2000 Subaru Legacy All Wheel Drive Automatic
car ran great, i parked it at a friends and left the country for 15 months. came back and car would not start, thought the battery was dead, so i put in my battery from another car to see if it was the battery. it started right up. great! thought i needed a new battery. took old battery to auto shop they tested it and said it was good and charged. went back put old battery back in and car would not attempt to start. then i put the battery that the car started early on back in and car would still not start. what is happening now is key will turn car beeps but nothing electrical will turn on, no radio no lights no gauges and car wont attempt to start at all. what i have done now is replace negative battery cable because it looked like it was in really bad shape. i have also checked all the fuses and looked for any broken or worn wires. any advice or things to start trying would be very helpful, thank you for your time.
